Buffalo Canoe Float & Clean-Up

Service projects are sometimes the most difficult events to get excited about, until the project is the adventure! Team Green’s most popular community service event is upon us! Float a section of the Buffalo River by canoe as we collect trash and compete for prizes. Prizes are rewarded for most trash collected by both weight and volume, most unusual item found along the river, and, for those of you bringing your own kayak, a prize is also rewarded to most trash collected by single paddler kayak.

As a native from Hohenwald, on the banks of the Buffalo, we always look forward to Team Green floating our beautiful river. We floated last weekend and picked up as much trash as we could carry. Unfortunately, there was sooooooo much more we could not get. I wish we could join you this Saturday, but alas, work calls. I want all of you on Team Green to know how much we appreciate your efforts and hope you have a wonderful and successful float. The weather should be great!
