Outdoor Rock Climb: Sand Rock

In October 2009 Team Green Adventures stumbled upon the Sand Rock Climbing area by chance. With plans to climb at the Obed, threatened by flash flooding along the Obed River, we had to think fast. Sand Rock Climbing area in Alabama offered warmer weather and a wider variety of climbing options for all skill levels. This fall we’re going back for another full weekend of climbing and camping. Novice climbers have two months (plenty of time!) to practice indoors before joining us outdoors!
